Pure New Year 2008 starring Deborah Cox, Philadelphia
What a great project. The weekend was so multifacetted and creating a piece that would reflect the long weekend's events was a fun challenge.
The soundtrack or Deborah Cox tracks was mixed in studio during the production and editing othe video.
RED HOT, Philadelphia
Working with Noel and N-Squared Productions, This controversial art opening displayed pieces from photographers, painters and sculpters, and recieved national press coverage when the owners of the gallery's building, evicted them for violation of their lease, stating that the show was pornographic in nature.
Lux55 designed all materials, print, web and branding for this event.
Gorgeous I
This was the first project that I did with Noel (formerly of N-Squared). Immediatly we shared the same vision for what the video should look and sound like.
This was one of the quickest projects from first contact to finsh I have ever done.
Gorgeous II : Still Gorgeous
A no brainer for Noel and I now... this event was to be more 'dancy/clubby' than the first... It also starred Project Runway Winner of Season One: Jay McCarroll.
Instinct Magazine Anniversary at Pure Nightclub
A quick 45 second advertisement used on Pure's website and for viral marketing puposes on Myspace, FaceBook in addition to in-house projection displays.
Ettore Spa & Salon at PashionPhest 2003
Ettore and Gary approached me with the idea of combining old Hollywood footage projection with a runway hairshow presentation.
As you can see, for 2003, the results were tremendous and the audience went wild.
Paws In The City, Philadelphia
We, Annette and I along with her best friend Noel (whom I worked on the Tease project with, met to discuss her pet care service website on a beautiful Spring Day in fabulous Franklin Square Park.
Needless to say, the park and Philadelphia played an incredible role in the inspiration of the site... We went for an illustrated, animated site for 2 reasons, 1) many people feel that their pet is their child and children love illustrations and bright colors and 2) It's easier to train an animated cartoon dog in the time allotted, than to train a real dog.
Radian Studios
The mission was to create an alien mascot for a multi-media studio. It was originally requested to be human like... but I after I explained to the clients that 'creating' a life form from scratch, sets us free of any limitations. Everyone knows how a human being moves, but a creature never seen before can move or morf anyway we want him to.
Brook Island Records
Creation of an introduction piece to launch a new website.
Brook Island had no footage- no graphics, just a few audio tracks.
These were mixed at LUX55 and then the visuals were created.
